Process

Timeline for creating a new website depends on these factors:

  • Content – Is it all ready to go, or does it need to be written?
  • Number of design changes
  • Review time (from the receiving a file, to when feedback is provided)
  • Any image and/or file preparation

To get started, we can chat about what you like/dislike/want. From there I form my ideas and suggestions on how to make your new site successful. Together we can work on a site map and make sure all the content on the new site has a home. I’ll create design layouts for you to review and together we can make two rounds of design changes if needed. Then it’s time for me to program the website and flow in your copy and imagery. This can take a week to two weeks or so, depending on the size of the site and our workload.

Of course every project is different and has it’s different needs. Social media is important to be current on and depending on your industry, different sites and features can help boost traffic. These are different elements that are project-specific that we can discuss.
